The Thief and the Giant

Once upon a time, a thief lived in a small village.

He heard about a giant with a lot of treasure.

The thief decided to steal the giant's treasure.

One night, he sneaked into the giant's cave.

The giant was sleeping, and the thief was quiet.

The thief saw a big chest filled with gold.

He tried to lift the chest but it was too heavy.

The giant woke up and saw the thief.

The thief was scared and tried to run.

The giant caught the thief with his big hand.

The giant asked, "Why are you here?"

The thief said, "I was looking for food."

The giant gave him food and let him go.

The thief felt ashamed and never stole again.

He learned that honesty is the best policy.

Moral:

Honesty is the best policy.
