Once upon a time, a little red hen found some wheat seeds.
"Who will help me plant these seeds?" she asked.
"Not I," said the cat.
"Not I," said the dog.
"Not I," said the pig.
So, the little red hen planted the seeds herself.
The wheat grew tall and golden.
"Who will help me cut the wheat?" she asked.
"Not I," said the cat.
"Not I," said the dog.
"Not I," said the pig.
So, the little red hen cut the wheat herself.
She made flour and baked bread.
"Who will help me eat the bread?" she asked.
"I will," said the cat, the dog, and the pig.
"No, you won’t," said the little red hen. "I will eat it myself."
And she did.
The moral of "The Little Red Hen" is that
If you do not help, you do not get.
Work hard, and you will be rewarded.
