The Gingerbread Man

Once, an old woman baked a gingerbread man.



He jumped up and ran away.

"Run, run, as fast as you can!

You can't catch me, I'm the Gingerbread Man!"


He ran past a cow.

The cow chased him.


He ran past a horse.

The horse chased him.


He ran past a pig.

The pig chased him

.

He reached a river and met a fox.

The fox said, "I can help you cross."

The fox tricked him and ate him up.

The Gingerbread Man was gone.


The moral: Don't trust strangers.
