The crow laid eggs in her nest.

A snake lived in a hole near the tree.

The snake often ate the crow's eggs.

The crow was very sad and worried.

One day, she came up with a plan.

She found a shiny necklace near a pond.

The crow picked up the necklace.

She flew to the snake's hole.

The crow dropped the necklace in the hole.

Soon, the king's guards came searching.

They found the necklace in the hole.

The guards saw the snake and killed it.

The crow was happy and safe.

Her eggs were never eaten again.
