Once upon a time, a jackal lived in a forest.
One day, he was chased by a pack of dogs.
The jackal ran into a village to escape.
He fell into a tub of blue dye.
When he came out, he was all blue.
The jackal went back to the forest.
The animals were afraid of the blue jackal.
The jackal said, "I am sent by the gods."
He became the king of the forest.
The animals brought him food every day.
One night, he heard jackals howling.
He forgot himself and howled too.
The animals realized he was just a jackal.
They chased him out of the forest.
The jackal learned not to pretend to be someone else.
Moral:
Pretending to be something you're not will always get you into trouble.
