Amelia Earhart: The Brave Aviator

A Curious and Adventurous Girl

Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Amelia Earhart who loved adventure. Born on July 24, 1897, in Kansas, USA, Amelia was always curious and loved exploring. She wasn't afraid to climb trees or go on long hikes, always seeking new adventures.

A Fascination with Flying

When Amelia was a teenager, she saw her first airplane at a state fair. It was a new invention, and she was fascinated by it. As she grew older, her fascination with flying only grew stronger. She decided she wanted to be a pilot, even though most pilots at that time were men.

The Journey to Becoming a Pilot

Amelia took flying lessons and worked hard to save money to buy her own plane. Her determination and never-give-up attitude helped her achieve her dream. In 1928, she became the first woman to fly across the Atlantic Ocean as a passenger, which made her famous.

First Solo Flight Across the Atlantic

But Amelia wanted more. She wanted to fly solo, all by herself. In 1932, she achieved this dream by becoming the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. The flight was dangerous, with strong winds and icy weather, but Amelia's courage and determination saw her through.

Setting Records and Inspiring Others

Amelia didn't stop there. She continued to set records and inspire many people, especially young girls, to follow their dreams. She showed that with hard work and determination, anything is possible.

A Mysterious Disappearance

Unfortunately, in 1937, during an attempt to fly around the world, Amelia's plane disappeared over the Pacific Ocean. Despite extensive searches, neither Amelia nor her plane was ever found. Her disappearance remains a mystery to this day.

Legacy of Bravery and Determination

Amelia Earhart's story is one of bravery, determination, and breaking barriers. She showed the world that women could achieve great things in aviation and beyond.

Moral of the Story

Follow your dreams with courage and determination, and never give up, no matter how difficult the journey may seem.

The Tortoise and the Geese

The geese had an idea. They told the tor-toise to bite a stick. Each goose held an end of the stick. They warned the tor-toise not to talk. The geese lifted the tor-toise into the air. As they flew, people below saw them. They shouted, "Look at that funny sight!" The tor-toise opened his mouth to speak. He fell to the ground and broke his shell.
